I want to see within you,
to gaze with eyes that lead imagination
to a walk down shadowed avenues
that lined with ancient hallowed trees
and limbed with shining golden leaves
support the ropes of silken twine
that firmly hold the swing
of your childhood time.

I want to search within you
for your truth unvoiced since
early youthful days
to find the hidden vistas where
none have sought your memories
that bound in ropes of silken twine
firmly holding the swing
of your childhood time.

I want to live within you,
and touch the heart of what you wish;
and uncage what you wish to free
to flourish in this universe,
for love that’s countlessly rehearsed
is bound in ropes of silken twine
that firmly hold the swing
of your childhood time.
