The wind smells like fresh cut grass and moist earth
The air sounds like the echo of laughter
It's filled with a rhythm that matches the beating of my heart, like the soft creak of a rocking chair
Every pulse from the earth brings pleasure
It's filled with quiet moments, a lovely tranquility
The busy moments flood me with life
There's an earthiness here that takes me back to my roots
I love the way the sun feels against my skin as I turn my face to the sky
I'm content with the earth beneath my bare feet
I smile as I feel sweet southern tea cool my throat
The people here have a way about them that warms my soul
This place is my home
And no matter where I go I carry it with me in my heart
My body physically aches to return here
And when I'm here I feel whole
I feel safer
I feel more at peace
I crave this place like a deep seeded obsession
This place is my home
