“Spend time searching through your truths
and your romantic needs and desires this week”
My horoscope said

*****

“Don’t play them against what you “think” should be
Don’t play them against what others “think” should be”
My horoscope said

*****

“Bring them into your awareness exactly as they are
Honor them. Celebrate them. Rejoice that you have found them”
My horoscope said

*****

“Knowing these personal truths and secrets
Is the most important tool you can embrace”
My horoscope said

*****

“For the events and the possibilities that are about to ignite
In your life and bring you compelling and delicious possibilities”
My horoscope said

*****

“Stay centered, open, compassionate, tolerant, optimistic
And in complete control of your truths”
My horoscope said

*****

How does my horoscope know what to say?
Why should the stars know what I need each day?
Who are these people who bring us our signs?
Should we believe them, or are these just lines?

*****

Do mystic truths truly work here and now?
Can the truth lie in the stars there somehow?
Do we subconsciously make these words true
By the things that we say and the things that we do?

*****

If they are true, why aren’t they more succinct?
Are fate and our lives inextricably linked?
Is Nostradamus a prophet or is he a fraud?
Does your belief in star signs test your faith in the Lord?

*****

Do astrologers even believe in a God?
Or do they share tips with a wink and a nod?
Why won’t the stars give us names, dates and times?
Or are these false prophets, their visions “fraud crimes”?

*****

Why were they used by great kings of the past?
And if they weren’t right, why did their power last?
History tells us that most once agreed
That to visions and star readings, all must pay heed

*****

So many questions but wait, still no voice!
Believing in horoscopes IS still a choice
Which is personal, and which involves this one view
That the words in the stars have been written for you…
