I'm watching the sky
and I hear the screendoor hinges squeak as you open it.

You sit next to me
and I feel your hand on my shoulder.

"It's pretty," you murmur.
I look away.
"I miss the stars."
You only ruffle my hair and sigh.

Perfection...

of a soulful moment. You stopped time here and allowed us the peace and emotions of a split second of living...

thank you

a good example of "less is more".

Which is already starting to become a definite hallmark of your style!

Lovely writing

I love the grace in this,

so simple and pure.

Really nice piece,

Thanks.
