Hotel smells in buffalo,
Brought back to life through a song.
Although I haven’t been away long,
It’s hard to remember.
I think it was cigarettes,
Yeah, cigarettes and bodies together
With Lemon cleaner and compounded
Over time. Fine times.
Especially in Michigan
The song was called, nothing in there ‘bout
Buffalo at all. So where do these memories
Come from anyways?
Fine times and hotel smells, together with
You in Buffalo.

I'm reading the poem (love it, by the way) and wondering about you. I decided you're a guy in his 40s who has probably seen a lot of life. Then I checked out your profile. Okay, I was wrong. lol
