It just wasn’t
going to leave
in the blink
of a laugh
that attempted
to build
a compromise
out of
empty soup cans
and thoughts
that no one
had ever planned
on wearing
any longer than a man
with the face that looked
like it was going
on a voyage
around the block
on its way to vote
for the next chance
to buy a house
in the shape
of a pained
facial expression.

Dear peaches,

Don't hold back on my behalf my dear. I love learning from my mistakes, or admittedly non deep and shallow words. I stopped taking myself seriously a long time ago. Anywho, If I am totally off, learning the correct (or a better) interpratation-would shame me how? Some times you might be wrong too I presume and wish to hear another view? I did get a lot of private winks and hints though, so in that case I am clearing the way for a whole different ballgame...:-)

*****

In my minds eye I see a life ...building reflecting, wanting to run.. and looking back. But in the reality of it all, I havent a clue.. though I read it 3 times, I came up with a different meaning all 3 ;-0. So what to do with a blonde? I think I could get really deep here, but then I would blow Kloklore out of the water, lol... damn,.. now that was a comment, and I wouldnt want to shame anyone, *winks*. Perhaps I could blow you away with the next -

However I will tell you .. I enjoyed the ride, as you led me around curves, and hills.. all in one breath... my your pretty good at that.

being challenged - and a challenging poem

Boy, you are a man of extremes aren't you? When you move out of the mini castles of highly efficient two or three liners you splash the reader with poems which feel like they were built by intermingles mega molecules. BUT - despite my temporary crankiness I don't come to a poem with an a-priori concept: ‘what should a poem be for me’. So you make it difficult on me, fine. Is there a purpose? Ahhha! - that is the question. After some deliberation, I came to the conclusion that there is. The difficulty, the "stuckness" the quality of almost self contradictory expressions is relevant to the theme of the poem (once you figure it out that is...) For me, it's a reality where there is a great difficulty to move and to change…The images hint to immobility, probably poverty and definitely pain. At the moment of the poem, it’s mostly a negation of an idea of mobility or the possibility of hope, even if the wish for it to be possible may still be there.
