Humor me.
No... I humor myself
On your behalf,
Because of your behalf.

So, set me ablaze
With flaming passion
For the simple, stupid, and stupendous
Thing called life.

Humor me
With the ultimate irony
That we are rushing
Only to an end.
Yet, simultaneously,
Wanting, needing, coercing
This entity, called self,
For more and more and more.
Oh, I say,
Set me ablaze

Humor me
Yes... We humor ourselves
On our behalf
Because of our behalf,
As we set ourselves ablaze
For the simple, stupid, and stupendous
Thing, called life.
