I cry if I see you
Pondering in my heart
Lingering on each memory
Such a big part

I feel your stare
From many miles away
You hunger for me
More than you say

I can’t put you to rest
Or leave your side
My heart doesn’t want
To stop this wild ride.

Don’t feel me, touch me
I shiver at the thought
I can’t forget your words
And all I’ve been taught.

I quietly bow my head
I will submit in the end
You are in my heart
Whether as lover or friend.
