I would kill the Fall
drag it's body north to shed it's blood
bright on snow for winters sacrifice
a cold blade makes little sound
in a drift of falling leaves
grass coated with ice
prompting a slower stalking,  time must be taken
careful not to wound but to facilitate the kill
patient executioner,
breathe held,
bow drawn
let loose the tempest arrow swift and silent
split the skin straight to heart
offer an end
quick and startling
for this,
the chosen harvest
 necessary death.

Wonderful write Sabina.. images rise forth and I felt the release of the bow string.. as the arrow made the all to familiar thud!
