Tides passing out to sea expose the objects that lie in the sand hidden from view.
Slowly the covering sands are removed and the once beautiful shell is now scraped, torn, and left with gaping holes.
Still beauty exists, enough for those seeking fortune to examine closely the value of the shell.
The scrutiny reveals the luster has been removed with very little concern, it is discarded.
Tide moves back in to cover and scrape the shell reducing it ever so slightly each day until it is the covering sand
Scraping another shell.

Up and down are the moods when we love. We are exposed and vulnerable to the elements about us. We put on our best self in hopes to be loved by some one. Ever fearful of the day they see the real person you are, fearful of being once again discarded. Again you seek cover but each time a new love appears, a little piece of your trust is removed until you begin the hurt and pain that once was you.
