I dream of you Daddy
And make secret wishes
That you’ll come see me
And have tea with my play dishes

I dream of you Daddy
And want to see you soon
I sometimes cry in my pillow
When I think I see your face in the moon

I dream of you Daddy
And wonder where you are
I wish for your love
Upon every shooting star

I dream of you Daddy
And still love you very much
Momma says I have your eyes
And other features and such

I dream of you Daddy
Every single night
I pray that you’ll return to me
And hold me tight

yeah this bummed me out

I wanted to pass over it and just say there's no value, but it was reminiscent of late 19th century french symbolists/sentimentalists... Pre-paul verlaine and such. Anyway, good job, your poem bums me out as it was supposed to. Though I didn't give it a full 100 cuz it wasn't really fresh.

my daughter

Such timing of this one. I travel a lot for work and I'm leaving today for Germany. My 10yo daughter came to me last night asking me not to go. Don't know how many weeks I'll be gone so this was very poignant for me. Very nice!
