A clear head on this rainy day
I’m driven by this thought… of her thinking of me
Relaxing in a box, unopened, undisturbed
The clouds of my ignorance, I push you all aside
I hope to find your source
I hope to please, remember?
Wait.
I hope to remember please

A shy moon on this clear night
In a desperate rush of love for the idea that this is fading
It leaves me contemplating. I’m undisturbed
Stretching my arms over the world
I live to live well
I hope to be an angel
Wait.
When I die, I hope to be an angel

Lay my head on this light
Watch these letters appear
Pick them from the air
Put them right on here
I’ll make you understand
I’ll choke you with each breath
I’ll keep the poison coming
But I’ll save your soul in death

Cause I hope to be an angel

So it’s another rainy day outside
I wonder where this train will lead me
Maybe off the end of the world
Goodbye, I’m ready to remember now
