I kiss him
he finishes dressing himself
walks to the door
and I kiss him
goodbye
the kiss tender
and bittersweet
a final goodbye
he doesn’t think I know
about the other guy
doesn’t think I know
he’s leaving me
softly
he brushes my cheek
with his fingers
doesn’t even notice
the damp left by my tears
one last kiss
and he walks out my door
