But I got to be honest with you
it is breaking my heart in two
for I know I"ll never get to be
in her place
looking at you face to face
I won"t get to hold you tight
and make everthing seem so right
I won"t get to kiss your lips
or touch them with my finger tips
I will never get to be your wife
or in your life
I won"t get to love you
the way I really want to
