Why now...why can't you see?
You know I would go to the end of time and back.
All I asked was for your patience and hope, but I got jack.
I don't understand...why couldn't you wait, wait for me?
Once I wrote your name in the sand, bright and clear.
But then the waves washed it away.
Then I wrote it in the sky.
But the rain washed it away in tears.
Finally I wrote you name in my heart.
Now there it remains, and forever it'll stay.
Words of advice, sealed with a kiss.
All I can do is promise I'll try.
Never forget, I plea, never forget this,
