I met an angel
Who makes me laugh and smile
But for now
My angel is gone from me.

So now I must wait
I must be patient
Until my angel
Returns once again to me.

Why did God
Put him in my life
And make it so hard
To even talk to him.

Is this a test
To see if my heart is true
Why must my angel
Endure all he's going through.

Lord, protect my angel
Keep him safe
Heal his body, heart and mind
Lord, please make my angel whole.
