I bite my tongue

The pain is like missing you

I chew my lip

My mind escapes

The boxes are partially full

The van on Sunday

Will close another chapter

Into a new space

And wonder.......................

Giving descriptions and examples in your poem is good thing. You show the reader what the pain of missing is like by comparing it to biting your tongue. And you give some good descriptions with the boxes and van.
