All I want is my own life
To fall in love so hard it hurts
For every time to feel like the first time
To feel what I know is buried in my heart
To feel that love with just my eyes
I for what I have never known
To see into a soul without ever trying
I want a touch that melts me to my core
To never mind the feeling of losing control
I need a look that fits perfectly into my soul
To find the peace in someone’s arms, I don’t know alone
I want a lover whose touch I know without having ever felt it
My trust is there for you to take and do with it what you will
And through all this, I realize that forever will come before I touch that part of my soul
To figure out why, while some may know part of me, one will know all
And so I dream
