i want to write you a happy poem
but apparently i cant
the problem is this career you have made
out of hiding
is that my fault too
because if it is then i am truly sorry...
but its easier to bury your feelings
than it is to feel the pain
and it hurts too much to care
and anyway its a lot safer isnt it
i know you love me
but not as much as you fear rejection...
and the moon is no silver disk
its just a lousy rock
that hangs over our head like a scepter
but you are as cold as a moonbeam.
