I will not ask again.
is there such a threat equal to that?

Only a child knows, before learning there are no consequences
no suppers and sent to bed
that matter.
awareness drips drops dry
potency.

Only I know, age knowing lovers
and tigers gone toothless
a threat is a promise.

i want to know that you still yearn
that there are possibilities
and consequences of expectations

and price to pay

As long as you don't ignore me (or know my name)

Gradually children learn their power, even as the weakest link in the family. For some the punishment or the threat thereof maybe the highlight of attention –say love. Mind you that may not be the road to the happiest relations. True many times we take what we can.

<P>

Toothless tigers are not a non threat as you might have imagined but in fact they are as good as dead in a very short time. You could claim that I am over realizing a metaphor. Then I would say that this strong and colorful metaphor was quite concrete to begin with…
