If I stay quiet, concentrate with my eyes closed and heart open:

I can almost see the sun breaking through the clouds,

I can almost hear the laughter of children in play at the park,

I can almost smell the petals of a flower opening for the first time,

I can almost feel the breeze that shifts through the autumn leaves.

And if I really concentrate my thoughts on you:

I can almost taste the salt in the tears flowing down my cheeks,

When I imagine the look in your eyes as I tell you, I love you.
