The way the Irish use their religion,
As an excuse for fighting their own kind.
Is something the English have encouraged,
It's kept Ireland from a united mind!

If the Irish would use their religion,
For the things that religion is used for.
They'd then pretty soon be all united,
And push the English out, then slam the door!!
