Opinions are like noses:
everyone has one and
sooner or later they blow it.
I find great amusement in
the experts who send their
advice on what constitutes
correct poem sructure;
any third grade student
knows their English teacher
has said there is no one
or correct way to write
a poem; yet, the critics
come in the night saying
they are right and all
others are wrong...this
is the height of arrogrance;
I will write as my muse moves me
and you can take your criticism
and shove it and I'll take
my money from poetry sales to the bank;
this way we'll both be happy.
