We've been through this many times,
Each time it's been the same old thing.
Through every repetition
And every single dance
Each step has been repeated
With machine like precision
Fascinating at first, but ultimately boring,
No, worse than that.
Much, much worse.

Lately, I've had a hard time masking my disgust,
Hiding my disdain over your willingness
To keep this going despite the obvious.

Not that it matters.
You don't even notice.
How could you?
That would require the very thing you're lacking
Which for now I'll call a soul
Until something better comes to mind.
