A very dark parody of the Monkee's I'm A Believer

I think God is only true in fairy tales
Meant for all Jews but not for me
You'll be out to get me
That's the way it's gonna be
My ex church has told me
For daring to speak up and speak my piece
My soul will never rest in eternal peace
Disappointment will forever haunt all my dreams

I've never seen his face
So now I'm an atheist
Not a trace of doubt in my mind
I'm right and you're all wrong
Here on this earth
In this wicked wicked place
Jesus Christ just doesn't exsist
I'm pretty damn sure
I'm an atheist
I could't believe in Jesus if I tried

I think religion is more or less a liar's thing
Seems the less we give to line their flithy rich pockets
The more they try to convince us
We'll go to Hell if we don't bow down and worship
What's the use in beliving?
All you get is pain
When you ask for sunshine you get rain

I've never seen his face
So now I'm an atheist
Not a trace of doubt in my mind
I'm right and you're all wrong
Here on this earth
In this wicked wicked place
Jesus Christ just doesn't exsist
I'm pretty damn sure
I'm an atheist
I could't believe in Jesus if I tried
