What a gallant invitation, G, walk to where, precisely, and into what, I wonder ???

The what.

Askew and ashen.
Droit et gauche. The future.
Stumble/limp, gams (those gams),
pressing weight and soles (and souls)
firmly and once on concrete hardened past,
and never walk again.
(the same road twice)

The Where.

"No. You said a drink, that's all. What do you mean?"

"You know. Look, how long have I known you? 10 years? 12? And you've never once asked yourself?"

And later, in that limber dark, from one simple touch of lips to this. How long did I walk this bridge? Who turned on this light? Why am I here? Is this what I really want?

"Yes.

Oh yes."

And I witnessed all. Did you know?

I had to read this 3 times. Well, I didn't have to, but I had to, ya know? and I will again. I'm in awe. Thanks

In awe

of your word skills. Touched by your intuition and understanding. Each time I read it, its as if its the first. My head reels with the pictures you create. Mat
