Across a crowded bustling room
Their eyes meet
Lock, burning into each other
She loses herself in the warm hazel glow
And drifts away
Into a world of fantasy

She imagines his soft warm lips
Kissing her
Making the hair on the back of her neck stand on end
She can feel his touch
Warm and light
Tracing across her skin

She sighs deeply
Feeling the temperature rise
And the tension grows
Breathing harder, deeper
She feels the heat of their togetherness
Bites her lip
And looks deeper into his eyes
As they lock together

She startles suddenly
Breaks his stare
Looks away, flushed
She looks back at him
He has returned to his work
She sighs
Wishing it was real
Wishing she could be lost in those eyes
In reality
Not just imagination
