the obituary read
he died of natural causes
and that he was a speaker
respected in literary circles.
and then it said
in a brief quote,
"it's time to walk
and see a new world,
one that doesn't
have a day or night
to count the days
before extinction."
isn't it ironic
that these words
he wrote
left a vivid impression
at the end of time,
but yet,
still left a piece
of himself
to stay alive.
and in your words, "It's time to walk and see a new world, one that doesn't have a day or night to count the days before extinction" and then, "but yet, still left a piece of himself to stay alive." envelopes an entire concept of life after life. Food for thought on this author's plate today. Well done, Don.

I think all of us leave something behind after our deaths which allows us to live on.
is the spice of life, whether we're here to realize it, or not :) enjoyed
