you come to me in dark waves
that surge from out of the night.
you absorb all sight. that you
want me is all that matters -
but always you're receding
back to the sea of nothing.
taken by your beauty and
the warm rhythm of our flesh
i inhale eternity
and dissolve into your host -
but forever you're draining
back to the sea of nothing.
my hot mouth circles you as
your fingers play in my hair.
i tattoo you on my face
and sew my lips to your thigh -
but always it's retreating
back to the sea of nothing.

A tremendous depth

and swell to this lovely poem, the rhythm of the sea it so well describes. Lines 11 and 12 are particularly striking. Thank you.
