LEMONIA / (F)LIP EDELTRAUD => LEFT OVERS

AVRA
FRIDAY EVENING
28/9/2012

(Music in SIBELIUS 6 Sequence)

IN A TRANCE

(A)
As the years pass you by,
You're descending from the sky,
Like an angel in despair,
But of Us there was a pair.

Like two eagles then we were flying,
Cause we thought our love divine,
Immortality our souls,
What a sad song for the owls.

(B)
Every year you get further,
And I'm left in this fair weather,
To remember our first dawn,
Pair of stars till then unknown.

It will seem like touch and go,
As our memories will grow,
Steady distance keep from me,
And describe me what you see.

(A)
Do you still see my Greek smile,
Hear my song for just a while,
Do you feel my Dorian arms,
Paying service to your charms?

(B)
Maybe this night is romantic,
But I've got a heart nomadic,
Just preparing to move on,
I won't call you on the phone.

(A)
I still see your magic eyes,
Hear your passion words and cries,
I still move with you in dance,
I still kiss you in a trance.
