My heart rate quickens but my breath becomes shallow.
The world stops spinning for the moment the warmth of His arms engulf me.
The chaos of my life comes to a halt; He clears my vision and calms my soul.
In His arms
I can feel the peaceful hum of the world
The warmth of hope
His love surrounding my soul
His strength comforting me.
I can close my eyes and feel His arms around me,
His fingers trailing across my skin,
Leaning in His warm breath dancing across my skin,
His lips pressing into my neck, claiming me for that kiss.
His growl vibrating through all that I am…
In His arms I am whole
