In life, situations sometimes happen…
What kind of explanation
This must be?
But most of the time
We learn
To live just with that
Like hiding in the rain
With a newspaper over our heads
Bowing to the penetrating drips
Only waiting for it to be over
Not even thinking about unfairness
Unfairness is a luxury saved
For better safer times
And for now,
Just standing under
Few tearing papers
Maybe someday
If we are lucky
We’d learn to weather
This kind of storms.

You are definitely growing. It is a pleasure to read you. You do have a grasp of the idea that is taught in poetry, show, don't tell. The newspapers over your head is an excellent example. And there are little things that stand out, but nothing that can't be fixed in a jiffy.

thank you for the read :)

Bravo!

Kolkore:<p>My wont is not usually to peruse the new poetry submissions, but somehow I found myself doing just that. While there is little I could write that would that would indicate I possess any knowledge of this form, I do want to express that I really enjoyed this effort. Rain penetrating sheltering newspapers as if falling teardrops...great imagery!! While bowing to his superior knowledge of poetry, I must respectively disagree with "LeBroz." I especially like how you worded the last line. To me it wasn't an issue of grammar, but of impression. "Kolkore," very nicely done!

You ran out of space when typing in the title; there's a limit on number of characters. Also, watch out in that last line; ought to be either "These...storms" or "This...storm".
