sometimes it's lonely,
in love with a tree
but he is always there for me
his bark rough, yes
but his boughs rustle in a soft caress
birds coo from darkest hollows
i sing along, the parts that i can follow
softness of leaves on bare skin
prompts that my own song begin
no tender rhyme, but sighs of joy
of love for my own oaken boy

Nice little piece suggestive of all girls' love of things of nature and fantasy (unicorns).

Beautiful...

little tribute to a fine old oak tree. Like many other wonderful genus, they give so much to people that really care.
