By the Wildcat and Cinderella

In the darkness of night I lay here
Loved by many
But a hunger for only one fills me

In the darkness of night I lay here
Wanted by many
But loneliness for only one ruins me

In the darkness of night I lay here
Needed by many
But emptiness for only one haunts me

In the darkness of night
Loved by many
His invisible arms enfold me

In the darkness of night I lay here
Wanted by many
Dreaming of only one

In the darkness of night
Needed by many
He comes to me

In the darkness of night
We have each other
In the darkness of night
We can be together

In the darkness of night
He fills me
In the darkness of night
His depth enthrals me

In the darkness of night
He enslaves me
In the darkness of night
I want to stay

In the darkness of night
Loved by many
I crave his heart

In the darkness of night
Wanted by Many
I want only him to take me

In the darkness of night
Needed by many
My heart goes with him
At the breaking of a new day

Wonderful

I know exactly what you're saying, Cinders. Though I may be loved and needed by those who surround me, it still doesn't stop me from longing for that one special one. May we all find that part of our soul that we seek.

Not bad

Not bad, plays more like a song than a poem, but i think it works. The repitition gets a little bit stale in my opinion. Still, overall, nice stuff.
