Alas to be sorry for trespasses given

For many to come from my person driven

I offer acknowledgement for seeds badly planted

Hoping future crops withering gone

Past sins deceased - those coming shuddered at

Bygones be bygones I stand at the Bar

These things shall be upon my head:

The broken heart to those unwed

Unworthy thoughts cursed to my head

A single wry smile at one less fortunate

The comment not quite so proportionate

The lasting mark on those younger than I

Taking more than my portion of the figurative pie

Shutting out feelings which ought to be shared

The rudeness for which I so often had glared

The needy for whom I did not stop to adhere to

An impending task not done for the fear to

Selfishness taken opposing another

Mostly not following my Eldest Brother
