Insomnia,
Tenchi Akira

My insomnia has been my curse for some many years
In my insomnia, I destroy so many lives
So many wives turn into widows,
Now they just star blankly through empty windows
Waiting for their loved ones to return
Not wanting to turn around and look at their husbands urn

With eyes wide open,
And with a full year of preparation
I still couldn’t have predicted
I still couldn’t have foreseen
That it is you I am meant to be with

In my insomnia I searched so blindly through the night
And so ignorantly through the day

I cry harder as every day turns to night
Should I just give you up without a fight?

I feel like those widowed wives going blind
Losing their sight to a now morbid scenery
Wishing that their loved one will return to them

Shit wishes aren’t meant to come true
Don’t you remember when I told you
That I love you, I doubt that you do anymore

In my insomnia I searched so blindly through the night
And so ignorantly through the day
