I'm here hurting
As if a blade
has slashed
and pierced
my soul
My eyes bleed
My heart weeps
I turn over to make
It stop and wonder
Stains on my pillow
If anything that was written
is true?
Goddam it, don't you
realize I've always
felt a larger than life

Piece of you."
These lines drew me into the pain expressed earlier in the poem. Nicely done.
