Standing here, chilled to the bone.
I am the One you left alone.
Waiting by the under brush,
The wind whistles a whispering hush.

All you have said has come true today
In every single and way.
A single tear streaks down my face;
Hot and burning at a slow and steady pace.

I wish to scream into the sky!
You always made me want to cry,
But you were never there before;
So what does it matter anymore?

All I've ever wanted is irrelevant.
Nothing is like I'd hoped! Stop it, I just can't!
Can't deal with you or me or her or him.
Right from the start, hope was very dim.

It doesn't matter anymore how you treated me then,
Or here, or now, or when.
Just remember in your mind, way down, deep below;
That I'll love you more than you'll ever know.
