“It's not you” she said “it's me.”
How right she was and how wrong
I did everything I could
To make the relationship work
While she did everything she could
To make it fail
I was faithful to her
When she wouldn't speak to me
She was unfaithful to me
While I listened in the next room
Though she loved me from her heart
I just didn't trip her trigger
Though I loved her for her mind
I just didn't make her wet
How could I have been so blind
To believe I had found the one for me
And never even have considered
That I might not be the one for her
