Maybe I don't know the right words to say
I'm trying to find a way
Even perhaps through these darkness
Of drowning deep nights
Maybe I don't know if the pain becomes
Real from the imagined
If I should rock, or slowly sway
May I don't see the way
Through the haze of pills
That leaves numbness and a feelings of fray

Maybe I don't know when I close my eyes
What the next uncertain day will bring
Maybe if only maybe
It will be lighter warmer and
Chase away the angst of uncertainty
That hangs like a plague
To destroy
I hold hope the darkness will find light
With the lost optimist's cure........
