A green eyed monster lurks, denied by its host for years

Secure, and protected, hidden away, scheming, watching it's peers

Unseen by most, it waits in its host

Hidden well it does plan, for the day that it can

Spring forth and lay waste to the land

With gee it chuckles and laughs hiding there in the back

Till the time is ripe to attack

Finally, it, bunches, and gathers to spring

A victim approaches, the bell seems to ring!!

Boldly it leaps for this is the time

In its glory its eyes do fairly shine

Jealousy is unleashed, holding back none at all

Fed well it does grow, meek not at all

It springs forth to do torment to all

Well the monster has fed, friendships are dead

Betrayals, accusations et all

Beware to you all, it does stalk every hall

Now this story is done for a time

For I've run out of rhyme

To broken hearts do ye tend

For the monster does rend

And this poem is at its sad end
