Muhammad wrote Allah is merciful, all powerful, and wise
He needs no helpers
So walk to the market
Push this button to help Allah

Christ said to love your neighbor
Only he can judge
So take this mop and bubbling cauldron of tar
Paint those Mormon devils

Moses saw God write “You shall not murder”
Cane, where is your brother?
Now fly like Mercury wielding Thor’s hammer
Destroy that factory of workers

The evening news proclaims the war is going well
Hurrah for the orphans and widows
Tune in at ten to see bloody bodies strewn about
Buy our new car, 25 miles per gallon!

Love to see people burned, blown up, and shot
Can’t wait for the sequel
Just be sure there’s no sex or tits
Those things are evil

Cane - Cain

Yes, I believe Cain is how Adam originally spelled it :p

Point taken. Seems that I proof my material as closely as I proof my expense reports - they send those back to me too.

CAIN. The last stanza rings true. It seems that it's more acceptable to show a bloody body than a tit.

provocative!

i like the juxtaposition throughout the poem. this grabbed my attention, right from the opening line. it makes you take a long hard look at things people would often rather not think about. this is the kind of poem that makes you check yourself, because it holds up a mirror, rather than points a finger.

it's well plotted and stimulating to read. nice work. :D
