Wedding bells, blushing brides, vows made for keeps
Warming sun, picnic time, children by the heaps
Fuchsias bloom, and berries grow, birds come out to sing
June is here so celebrate, wave goodbye to Spring!

Shed your shoes and don some shorts, enjoy the season’s view
See some things your mind forgot, cherish something new
Hear grasshoppers click their heels as lady bugs fly home
June has come to stay awhile, so let your senses roam

June is such a lovely month, of roses and of pearls
And what a truly wondrous thing that June’s a name for girls
There really isn’t much to say against the month of June
Except that maybe that her stay is over much too soon

So salutations to you June! Greetings! Welcome! Stay!
It’s just so nice to have you here for thirty days of play
We’ll miss you when you go but know we always will admire
The things you leave behind when you are ready to retire.
