Oh, but to tip the scale!
Oh, but to win that favor!
Oh, but to have my way!

But that is not justice.

Steal from the thief!
Beat the abuser!
Kill the killer!

But that is not justice.

How do we define just?
Is is what we think is right?
What about others?
Is our injustice their justice?

Are we unjust to the unjust?

Or are we just . . . fooling ourselves?

Why fight fire with fire?

Doesn't it make more sense
To fight fire with water?

Doesn't it make more sense
To fight darkness with light?

Doesn't it make more sense
to fight hatred with tolerance?

Our children are who we teach them to be.

Are they just children,
who don't know any better?

Are they just children,
adults in training?

Are they just children,
in the way, and unwanted?

Are they just?
