Fingers ache
I can't control them
Too clumsy for the knot
Manage only to pull it tighter

Knot the bane of my existence
Rarely coming undone
It's web closing faster
Wicked grin I know so well

A mute gleam calls to me
Overused shiny blades dull
Point bent as well
Tho stabbing can't unloose

Scissors bite offers passing comfort
Of pain real and strong
Unlike the ache of knotted memory
Enough its said for some

Knowing the knot can't be cut cleanly
With time strands extend and come together
Until tangled there again
Gazing out, fingers tugging, myself undone
