Nipples pucker and harden
to chocolate buds knowing
what was once
what could be
incites a primeval throb
at her core, rekindling
embers within the
depths of her belly
an insatiable yearning
consumes her soul knowing
what was once
what could be

I get it!

I disagree with Erectus' comment. I think the poem is very rich in meaning. "What was once could be" indeed.

The fuel for the flame is always there. It just take something to ignite it.

Very well done.
