Life has knocked me down time after time
It has shown me things I never wanted to see
I've experiences depths of sadness I didn't know could exist
But every time I got up and faced reality
I've had my heart shattered into a million pieces
I've covered my pain with a smile
I've been weak and I've been afraid
But it strengthened me all the while
I've been through hell to find my strength
I found myself when I was knocked down and torn through
The fire purified me and refined me
I came out knowing there was not a thing I couldn't do
I was stronger than I'd ever been
Independent and powerful in my own right
Nothing could get through my shields
Until I found my kryptonite
You are my only weakness
To this I must confess
When you are on my mind and in my heart
I am completely powerless
I can handle anything that is thrown my way
I'm not afraid to stand up and fight
But baby when it comes to you I'm weak
