Like the movement of that curtain,
Frogs are singing, inning, outing,
In the yard where he is waiting,
For I heard his fatal tapping,
Of our secret tryst, was screaming,
To my husband’s insane raging,
Now I’m lying in pain, bleeding,
And my future’s not so certain,
By that window, by that curtain.

Nice tight narrative, good images with an economy of words IMO. I might have done something different with the meter for phonetic variation. E.g., not all gerunds at the end of the line; enjambment instead of ending each line with a comma.
