He flushes the sky toilet bowl blue,
flicking in cotton balls for texture.

He pitches velvety umbrellas
in the lime margarita of the earth
for the bees’ fiesta.

He clothes the trees in frilly dresses
- pink, white, and green -
unleashing the squirrels
to run through their skirts
and the robins to sing show tunes
from their budding bosoms.

He pauses, drags on His cigarette,
admires His work
and says to Himself,
“Damn...I am good.”

was not the ending

I was expecting!! I like that you kept this short and didnt get too encumbered with too many details. I personally have a soft spot in my heart for gardens/gardeners and God and whatever he smokes is fine by me... :)

My kinda god.....

....I hope he smokes filtered. Humourous and yet really pretty. Thank you! A five!

What...

...a great title! How could anyone not read after seeing it.

The first two lines are wonderfully written, the images and control terrific. A fine effort.
