Last Kiss

Boredom strikes me,
And wastes my spirit,
So, picking up the quill
I begin to write
The words flowing,
Pointless, meaningless
Having no reason, not making sense
Less even then your last kiss
That silent goodbye,
Framed, fractured in your eyes
I saw..my life over,
Not even begun
I held a hunger
Deep, for you
I held a desire,
Unlike any flower ever bloomed
I held a moment,
Like the clock chimes true
And you held my heart
Dark and shattered
Our last days were forever,
And yet so short to me
Those days of misery,
They clung,
like rain soaked cloth,
to your form,
Frail and lean
I gasped, my heart dying
In your grasp...
and this pen shall write
No more.
